RAHIM ALEXANDER
CONSULTANT
Mr. Rahim Alexander, LEED AP, BD+C, CMIT, has more than 15 years of versatile experience in construction and engineering. He has been involved on both the forensic and proactive sides of construction, working in various capacities from a Claims and Litigation Engineer to a construction Project Manager in the infrastructure, healthcare, and commercial industries, just to name a few. He cultivated his interest in construction management while working in the field for large general contractors as a Cost Estimator and Project Superintendent. Mr. Alexander honed his expertise by proactively resolving issues and developing a working environment conducive to collaboration amongst all parties. He has taken multiple, multimillion dollar projects from concept to close-out by utilizing his ability to seamlessly coordinate construction budgets and schedules, contract specifications, and change orders, ensuring that projects come in on time and within budget.
During his time in the industry, Mr. Alexander developed a passion for environmental sustainability, and thus pursued and obtained his LEED Accredited Professional (AP) designation for Building Design and Construction (BD+C) with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). He currently holds the Construction Manager-in-Training (CMIT) designation with the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), and is currently working towards obtaining his Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential. Mr. Alexander holds a Master of Science in Building Construction/Integrated Facilities Management, specializing in Program Management from Georgia Institute of Technology, School of Architecture, in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
