Kate Hull Appointed to the AACE International Education Board

Kate Hull, a Consultant at Spire Consulting Group, was selected to be a Contributing Member of the AACE International Education Board. The Education Board consists of qualified members from diverse backgrounds including past AACE presidents, university faculty, and professionals from owner, engineering, consulting and construction firms.

The goal of the Education Board is to utilize the knowledge and experience of its members in order to provide valuable education opportunities and products to all industry professionals, as well as improve and expand the education and scholarship endowment funds offered by the organization.

As a Contributing Member, Ms. Hull will be responsible for promoting the AACE scholarships and certification opportunities among young professionals and encouraging them to become more actively involved. In addition, she will contribute to the improvement of the professional seminar content and other educational tools offered by the organization. She also hopes to serve as the voice of the young as well as female AACEI members in order to assist the organization in providing the best educational and professional opportunities that meet their current needs.

Ms. Hull is the current President of the AACEI Central Texas Section, Alternate Senator of Region C and Section Representative for the Southwest Texas Professional Section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and a member of the U.S. Green Building Council Central Texas – Balcones Chapter. In addition, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Construction Engineering and Project Management from The University of Texas at Austin.
