Spire Managing Consultant, Kate Hull, has been given the opportunity to speak alongside a panel of esteemed industry experts at the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Fall Professional Development Day titled Project Management, Transcending Industries.
Ms. Hull’s panel session will include discussions on three vital skillsets to construction leadership, with the panelists providing their interpretation of each based on their individual industry experiences. The skillsets to be examined are leadership styles and responsibilities, facilitating collaboration and service leadership, and strategies that are crucial in identifying and achieving stakeholder expectations. In addition to Ms. Hull, the panel speakers will include Mr. Steve Hughes, Project Controls Manager at Worley, and Mr. Rob Williams, Safety Director at The Austin Chapter of the Associated General Contractors.
The Fall Professional Development Day sessions will give attendees a comprehensive look at what superior project management in a variety of industries entails through two keynotes and 16 workshops. Participants will learn the latest project management techniques and best practices that they will be able to share and implement with their respective teams. The event is PMI’s premier networking and educational event of the season and will be held at Sonesta Bee Cave Austin on Tuesday, September 24th from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
