projects
Austin voters passed Austin Independent School District’s (AISD) $1.05 Billion Bond Program to create 21st-century learning spaces for all students. The key projects in the bond include 18 new or modernized campus facilities, improvements to address overcrowding and critical needs, and district-wide improvements to technology learning spaces. As part of the AECOM team, Spire is excited to provide Project Management (PM) services under the direction of AISD. Spire will provide bidding and procurement management, program controls, A/E coordination, construction coordination, and post-construction management. Projects within the bond will support the District’s vision to reinvent public education by creating learning spaces that include bright, collaborative spaces, state-of-the-art technology, outdoor classrooms and community spaces. Construction is scheduled
to start in the fall of 2018 and
to continue through 2022.
