Spire Principal to Attend the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry 2014 Annual Meeting

Anthony Gonzales, Principal of Spire Consulting Group, recently co-presented with Itzel Ulloa, Project Control Manager of the Panama Canal Expansion Third Set of Lock Project, at the 2014 Western Winter Workshop. The three day program was held in Lake Tahoe, Nevada at the Hyatt Regency, March 13-16, 2014.

During the presentation, Mr. Gonzales and Ms. Ulloa provided an overview of the Third Set of Locks Project and updated the attendees on the current progress status. In addition, they provided an inside look into the Owner’s Project Control role, best practices, and challenges and opportunities for improvements that have been identified during the execution of this project.

The Western Winter Workshop is an annual event presented by the San Francisco Bay Area and Southern California Sections of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International. The program offers a variety of technical and capital management presentations, networking events, a ski competition and more.
